Transitioning your Haircare Wardrobe for Autumn

Transitioning your Haircare Wardrobe for Autumn

Before we've had time to swoon over the memories of our summer fun. Where our purse's were depleted on holiday, festivals and concerts. Wearing trainers with floral dresses. Whilst our skin's still slightly tinted by the Sun, fake tan bottles still half full and the salt spray still in use. It appears the Autumnal season has crept up on us.

Coats, trousers and boots are filling up the high street and tights season is nearly here, low maintenance legs again, thank goodness. Something to look forward to.

What does the seasonal change mean for our Haircare routine? Our hair goes through a lot during the warmer months; colour is Balayaged, highlighted or naturally tinted by the sun. Styling has ranged from Summer waves to being scraped up into a bun whilst at the beach. After all of that, it dawns on us, perhaps a change of style, colour or nourishing products is in order to transition into the new season. Improving the condition of your hair may be you main concern in preparation for the festive (*scream loudly if you're reading this before December 1st*) party season. For nourishment, we recommend R+Co Palm Springs Pre-Sampoo Treatment to give hair a boost of desperately needed hydration.

Individualism rocks this Autumn. Being who you want to be has never been more acceptable. This may manifest itself in a bold temporary hair colour, maybe pink hair via Infuse My Colour Ruby Shampoo, or embracing your natural grey.

A haircut trend we're loving for Autumn is a blunter finish, think Kendall Jenner hair, one length and above the shoulders. Shorter styles mean we're seeing more bone structure, less layering gives a smoother, sleeker finish - ghd's at the ready people.  As a bonus a blunt cut creates a thickening effect; particularly useful for those with fine hair. Voluminous hair will always be in favour but it's more groomed, glossy and expensive looking. Try Lernberger Stafsing - Dryclean Soft to add lightweight body and volume to hair.

Finally, if you just want to hit reset on your hair, Pureology Purify Shampoo will deliver. This wonder, vegan Shampoo deeply cleanses removing excess product build up, pollutants and chlorine.

We will be exploring the products mentioned in this post in greater depth over the next week here on our Blog, homepage and Instagram. So please keep a look out if you'd like to hear more.
As always, we love to hear your feedback to please let us know if you are enjoying these posts.

Until next time.

Sarah.
